Substantial changes in how the CFC is to be administered are close to being finalized, according to an article published this evening by Federal Times.
OPM has released a memo to the CFC administrative leadership around the country, announcing that the CFC will allow solicitation through January 15, 2014.
American Red Cross has replaced St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as the organization receiving the most support from donors in the U.S. Combined Federal Campaign. In the 2012 CFC, American Red Cross received an estimated $7,089,900 from federal donors. St. Jude received an estimated $6,651,900.
Wednesday’s House of Representatives hearing on OPM’s proposed CFC regulations has generated substantial media coverage. While we attended the session and have our own impressions, right now we want to help readers stay on top of what occurred on Wednesday and what has been written by journalists since.
